Min.Yvonne Secures Artist of The Year Nomination

 

Ghanaian-born UK-based musician Yvonne Asamoah-Tawiah, known as “Minister Yvonne,” has been nominated for the Gospel Artiste of the Year (Diaspora) at the 2022 Ghana Gospel Music Awards. Minister Yvonne, who has had a stellar music career thus far, was nominated alongside Minister OJ, Alex Acheampong, Bra Collins, Nayaah, Richard Kumi and Rita Queen.

The talented singer and songwriter, who is the 2021 Ghana Music Awards-UK Gospel Artiste of the Year winner, continues to put Ghana on the world music map with her unique style. “I am delighted to receive this nomination and I want to thank the organisers for this recognition. It pushes me to do more as I quest to win souls for Christ,” she said. Minister Yvonne added that she plans to release her “Faith Album” on October 22, 2022, as she embarks on a soul-searching mission to win souls for Jesus Christ.

Minister Yvonne, who also doubles as a Human Resource Specialist with the British Armed Forces, is the first-ever female gospel music act to be featured on BBC Music Introducing at the massive BBC Broadcasting House in London. She continues to impact lives and shape destinies with some of her ground-breaking singles, including “Conqueror”, “Unchangeable God”, and “Besuka”, among others.
